Bringing Light to Quiet Lives

Every woman—no matter her age, background, or where she lives—deserves respect, peace, and comfort. But there’s a group of women in our society who are often forgotten. These are the women who, for different reasons, never got married. Now, in their later years, they face loneliness, financial struggles, and silence from society.

We call them Maryam’s Companions—inspired by the pure and dignified life of Maryam (peace be upon her). These women have lived without marriage, without complaint.

• They don’t wear bangles, but they raise their hands in prayer.

• They don’t have husbands, but they serve others.

• They don’t have children, but they give love and sacrifice.

Who Are These Women?

They are:

• Elderly aunts, sisters, or neighbours

• Women who spent their lives caring for others’ children

• Those who are now sick, weak, and financially dependent on relatives or neighbours

• Women who have no parents left and no one to care for them

What Does Mariumate Do?

We’ve started a small but sincere effort to support these women:

• Help with medical treatment

• Provide basic needs like medicine, glasses, food, and clothes

• Create a respectful and encouraging environment for them

• Build a future system to register these women and give monthly support

We believe every woman has the potential to be as pure as Maryam (peace be upon her). These women have carried the weight of others all their lives. Now it’s our turn to carry their burden. This is not just charity—it’s a moral and spiritual responsibility.
